Tabletop Gaming in the English Classroom
Pairing D&D with Literature to Promote Literacy
October 1st-3rd, 2015 we attended the Illinois Reading Council conference in Peoria, IL, where we presented on the power of tabletop gaming in the English Language Arts classroom. In preparation, we have developed a simplified rule system that is more suitable for the educational environment. This system is adapted from the Pathfinder roleplaying system and comes accompanied with pre-made templates, characters, and tips for classroom implementation!

The following Templates can be implemented with this system. More templates will be added in the future and if you adapt a story that you are particularly proud of, send it our way! We would love to share your templates with other educators!
